The Lakeview Hub is dedicated to empowering the community by providing accessible support services that address employment, personal development, and emotional well-being. We know that real support means more than just helping with job searches—it’s about helping people thrive in every part of their lives.
Our vision is simple: a Lakeview where everyone has access to the support, services and opportunities they need to grow. At Lakeview Hub, you’ll find a warm, welcoming space where people connect, find encouragement, and feel respected and valued. We’re building a place where everyone feels seen, heard, and truly cared for.
Join us as we create a stronger Lakeview—a place where everyone has the chance to succeed and feel at home.
Join us every Wednesday in February for free, drop-in support at the Lakeview Hub. Whether you’re starting a job search, building confidence, learning how to apply online, or figuring out your next step, we’re here to help, one-on-one and at your pace.
All sessions are walk-in, run from 10 AM to 2 PM, and focus on practical help using the Jobs First Durham tools, with laptops and Wi-Fi available. Take a look at what’s happening this February and drop by on the Wednesday that works best for you.
We’d love to hear from you! For inquiries, support, or to learn more about our programs, please reach out to us via email or visit our location in the Lakeview Neighbourhood.
The Lakeview Hub is distinct from other employment and community services in several key ways:
The Lakeview Hub provides comprehensive support, addressing employment, personal development, and emotional well-being. This approach fosters a deeper connection with the community, ensuring everyone feels respected, valued, and understood.
The Lakeview Hub connects residents with diverse organizations, enhancing community assistance through regular access to essential services. The Hub isn’t just about delivering services; it’s about creating a community where people feel they belong.
Lakeview Hub is focused on empowering individuals, giving people the tools, skills, and support they need to take control of their lives and achieve lasting change rather than just addressing immediate needs.
